January 28th at 9am, The 2018 Canada-China Tourism Summit took place in downtown Montreal, QC. Hosted by CCEC and organized by Sinorama, this summit has gathered over 300 elites in tourism industry across Canada and China, including tourism representatives from Quebec and other provinces, distinguished delegates from political and business areas as well as major Canadian and Chinese media.
In 2016, leaders of Canadians and Chinese governments exchanged visits and officially named 2018 the Canada-China Year of Tourism. This summit, chose the perfect timing when the two countries taking tourism as an opportunity to enhance their bilateral cooperation, successfully made its entry under the theme of “Cultural Exchange & Cooperation”.
His excellency, Chinese ambassador LU shaye, delivered a keynote speech at the summit.
