The Canada Chinese Entrepreneurs Council will be celebrating its 5th anniversary on June 10, 2022 from 11h30 to 14h30 CET at the St-James Club. Over the past five years, we have created many exciting moments and worked together with our members to overcome the epidemic. Now that all industries are gradually recovering and rebuilding, CCEC will also usher in a new era, please join hands with us to move forward.

Looking back on the past five years, with the support of all directors and members, we have accomplished various goals: First, we have established a platform for China-Canada economic and trade relations, CCEC has been the designated organizer of the China International Import Expo for four consecutive years, carried out several large-scale promotion activities, and actively organized Canadian companies to participate in the event; CCEC has established cooperation with the Montreal International Relations Association, the Canada-China Business Council, Venture in Secondly, in recent years, CCEC has held a number of influential large-scale events, which have been well received by the Chinese diaspora and the local community, for example, in June 2017, CCEC's inaugural reception was covered in a large section of the mainstream newspaper La press, and the local TV station reported the event in a 30-second news report. , the Canadian political and business community paid high attention to the event, which subsequently also aroused great social repercussions; the 2017 Christmas Masquerade Ball was held at the CBC 42 Auditorium in Canada, a high-level social ball that showed the Chinese entrepreneurs' love for local culture and provided a channel for the Canadian community to understand the Chinese community in a comprehensive and multi-angle manner. The party left a good memory; in 2018, CCEC organized the opening ceremony of the Year of China-Canada Tourism, which was reported live by Chinese mainstream media, and in March 2019, CCEC organized the Montreal promotion of China International Import Expo, answering questions from Quebec business representatives on the spot; this event fully demonstrated the huge consumer market in China and was highly evaluated by the local community; in 2019 In August 2019, CCEC organized the first Cuihu Forum together with various parties, which lasted for four months and was well received by all parties; in November 2019, CCEC organized the first Quebec Chinese Entrepreneurs Awards Ceremony, after a third-party evaluation, seven outstanding entrepreneurs were awarded, this event set an example of Chinese entrepreneurs and at the same time showcased Chinese entrepreneurs to the local community.

During the epidemic in April 2020, the society and economy were hit by a major blow, CCEC launched a campaign to donate protective gear to the Chinese community. We donated more than 40,000 masks to the Montreal Chinese Hospital, and sent 15,000 masks and 30,000 pairs of gloves to the Montreal Home for the Disabled, proving to the society that Chinese and Chinese entrepreneurs are socially responsible in the face of disasters.

With the beautiful vision of integrating science and technology into a better life, we held a science festival in 2021 with the Montréal Beihang University Alumni Association. This event had four sections, namely, the impact of AI on industrial change, science and technology and ecological civilization, science and technology and educational change and public welfare, and science and technology and high-end manufacturing change, and invited famous experts to explain to the audience and enhance the awareness of Chinese entrepreneurs facing the new era of science and technology The festival was successfully closed on May 10. In June of the same year, we held a seminar on "Employment Hotspots and Internship Preparation" for Chinese students in Canada, in which we analyzed the employment situation, discussed test-taking skills, and invited Chinese entrepreneurs to share their employment experiences.

In the past five years, CCEC has organized many seminars on finance, finance, insurance, law, Sino-Canadian cooperation, high technology, cross-border e-commerce, branding, study abroad, immigration, real estate investment, etc., which have received positive responses and praise from all parties.

In the rotation of time, what remains unchanged is the stance of the strugglers; in the historical coordinates, what is clear is the pace of the strugglers. Looking back at the five years of CCEC, we are still explorin  and moving forward, and we will forge ahead in the future.
