On January 24, 2024, CACI(Support Centre for Immigrant Communities) held a conference themed "Diversity" in St Laurent. CCEC representative Ruilin Wang was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech on the theme of Chinese culture. More than 200 people, including representatives of immigrant communities in Quebec, attended the event.

During the conference, participants exchanged views on the history and culture of their home countries and presented the cultural heritage of their own nations. Ms. Ruilin Wang introduced the four great inventions, traditional festivals, Confucianism and other traditional cultural elements of China. She also described the development of contemporary Chinese society and life of ordinary people, which aroused keen interest among the participants. The atmosphere of exchange on site was warm, with frequent interactions. Audiences appreciated Chinese culture and said they would like to visit China in the future.

Cultural diversity is the natural result of the evolution of human civilization. Quebec is known worldwide for its long history and its deep artistic and literary heritage. It has played an important role in the cultural development of Canada and the entire Francophonie. Quebec is also a province of immigrants, bringing together them from all over the world. Quebec attaches great importance to cultural diversity and creates specialized agencies such as CACI to offer facilities and support to immigrants from different cultural origins so that they better integrate into local society. These efforts have achieved remarkable results and have been widely appreciated.
