In the evening of August 9^th, Canadian Chinese Entrepreneurs Council (CCEC) and Canada China Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) Quebec Branch co-hosted a welcome reception at St James Club. Over 130 guests attended the event, including newly appointed Chinese Consul General Chen Xueming, Vice Consul General Xing Wenjian, Commercial Consular Xiong Dongmei, City Council Member of Brossard Michelle Hui, former Canadian Ambassador in China Guy Saint-Jacque, vice director of Quebec Department of Exportation Jean Seguin, along with business and commercial representatives from local Chinese community and Quebec entrepreneurs who practice business with China, as well as renowned guests from financial, law and media institutions.
