The Canadian Chinese Entrepreneurs Council (CCEC) organized a celebration ceremony for its sixth anniversary on June 22, 2023 in Montreal. Around 150 guests, including members of the CCEC board of directors and representatives from the business community attended this event.
Mr. Philippe Wang, president of CCEC, thanked the support, care, and trust given by the members of the Board of Directors and different circles to CCEC. He also expressed his appreciation for the contributions of our partners and the presence of guests.
He noted that since its establishment in 2017 in Montreal, CCEC has set itself the objective of promoting Sino-Canadian commercial cooperation and becoming a non-profit organization with a sustainable development. For more than 6 years, CCEC has made a remarkable contribution to China-Canada and China-Quebec economic and commercial cooperation. He also pointed out that thanks to this celebration ceremony, which fortunately coincided with the traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, the guests had the chance to come together, allowing the Chinese community in Canada to live together the feelings of friendship and fraternity.
Honorable. Martin Cauchon, CCEC consultant, noted CCEC's many achievements and announced that CCEC's initial goal of playing a role as an economic bridge between China and Canada has been successfully achieved.
Ms. Caroline Blouin, Director of Desjardins Rive-Sud, said she was very happy to join the event to celebrate the sixth anniversary of CCEC. She hoped that the members of CCEC would continue to adhere to its values and missions in the future.
Mr. Kheng Ly, Founder and President of the Brivia Group, thanked the partners and members of CCEC who have always worked to promote the cause of CCEC and contribute to economic development.
Mr. Chen Xueming, Consul General of the Consulate General of China in Montreal, expressed his satisfaction for the bridge role played by CCEC since its founding. He also expressed his willingness to continue working together to promote China-Canada and China-Quebec cooperation, and the development of economic and trade relations between two countries.
