The Canadian Chinese Business Awards Gala, as a signature event of the CCEC, will host 550 guests this year. The number of successful Chinese businesses and entrepreneurs continues to grow, and in a short time, the event will promote Chinese people and their businesses, maximizing the strength of the Chinese business community in Canada, especially in Quebec. It aims to showcase the excellence of Chinese enterprises, establish role models in the Chinese business world, and enhance the public image and brand reputation of Chinese businesses within the mainstream community. Through a grand awards ceremony themed around "Unity, Progress, Legacy, and Contribution," the event will promote the hardworking entrepreneurial spirit of Chinese Canadians, especially in Quebec, while uniting the Chinese community and advocating for a sense of social responsibility.

Past Awards:
- Candidate companies or professionals must self-register or be nominated by a third party. The registration or nomination form must be completed and submitted before the deadline.
- Forms can be filled out in English, French, or Chinese.
- All submitted documents (including financial information) will not be returned.
- All applicants or nominees who pass the review will receive a certificate.
- For the 7 past awards, each award will have three finalists who may be asked to submit additional materials or undergo an interview with the jury for selection purposes.
- The list of winners will be announced on the night of the awards ceremony.
- The final decision is subject to the judging committee's discretion.
- If any information provided by a nominated company is found to be false, the company’s eligibility will be revoked.
- All personal information will be kept strictly confidential during the selection process.
- The awards adhere to the principles of openness, fairness, and justice.
Each award will have three finalists, and they will be invited to attend the **2024 Canadian Chinese Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony**. The winners for each category will be announced during the event.
Eligibility for Registration:
- The registered or nominated company must have its headquarters or branch located in Quebec, Canada.
- The shareholders of the registered or nominated company must be of Chinese descent and must be the primary responsible for the company’s management (excluding the Outstanding Quebec Export Enterprise Award).
- The registered or nominated companies and their shareholders must not be under any criminal investigation.
Required Documents:
- One work photo and one personal photo (each no less than 3MB).
- Personal resume including age, work experience, and any awards received.
- Company profile (including but not limited to): founding date, main business, primary products or services, key features, notable clients, revenue from the past three years, revenue from exports to China (if any), awards received, and future development plans.
Eligibility for New Awards:
1. **Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Entrepreneurs (1 recipient):**
- Must be of Chinese descent, aged 70 or older.
- Founder or partner of a well-known company.
- Actively involved in public welfare.
- A role model for the Chinese community.
2. **Outstanding Business Services Contribution Award (10-15 recipients):**
- Must be of Chinese descent.
- Recognized professionals or experts in industries such as finance, law, accounting, real estate, insurance, immigration consulting, architecture, media, etc.
- Evaluation criteria and weight:
a) Professional experience and qualifications (20%) – including years of experience, relevant certifications, and licenses.
b) Industry performance (25%) – average revenue, sales, and transaction volume over the past three years, and year-over-year growth.
c) Customer satisfaction (20%) – recommendations and evaluations from at least three notable clients within the past three years.
d) Market knowledge and professional competence (15%) – understanding of trends and data in the Canadian investment market, ability to analyze and provide insights, and professional capability in handling various types of investments.
e) Self-assessment (20%) – a 300-500 word personal evaluation by the applicant.
3. **CCEC Future Star Award:**
- Must be of Chinese descent.
- Current student entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs who started their business within five years of graduation, aged 28 or younger.
- A 300-500 word application, introducing their technology, industry leadership, innovation, and growth potential.
- For award winners, CCEC will help introduce investors to accelerate their growth.
Registration Fee:
- Except for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Future Star Award, and Outstanding Community Contribution Award, all applicants are required to pay a registration fee of $200.

Judging Committee:
The judging committee consists of relevant experts, scholars, and professionals.
The head of the judging committee is Honorable. Martin Cauchon, former Federal Minister of Justice and advisor to the CCEC, along with several prominent business leaders.
